About Us

We are a family run business originating in the beautiful department of the Vaucluse in the renowned region of Provence.

Distinctively French was started in 2007, inspired by living in the world famous antiques market town of Isle sur la Sorgue in France. Being surrounded by small, elegant and exclusive boutiques gave us the idea of bringing unusual and beautiful French style items to the UK.

As the business has grown, we now source from all over Europe, bringing to the UK unique products and beautiful things. We try to buy from smaller, family businesses where possible so that we find products that are not on the high street or in the chain stores.

With our contacts across Europe, we have access to an enormous and ever changing range of products, which we can source to order.

Larger and heavier items are sent via courier and will arrive within 1-2 days. You will be advised when your item leaves us, and it will be delivered and fully trackable to a UK address. A signature may be required. If your mobile number is provided the courier will send a text with your delivery window.
